Mitt Romney likely victory indicated by polling data released today

Mitt Romney has take a seven point lead, 52 percent to 45 percent, over President Obama in the Gallup daily tracking poll of 2700 likely voters released today. This poll, which includes seven days of polling data, includes just one day of polling data gathered after Tuesday night's second debate between the candidates. Romney also leads 49 percent to 47 percent in the reputable and widely considered very accurate Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking poll.

Rasmussen's Daily Swing State Tracking Poll, which includes Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin, shows Romney leading 49 percent to 48 percent over Obama. Likewise, the recent QStarNews survey of the same states shows Romney leading by a 50 percent to 46 percent margin in those states as well as leading individually in all 11 of those states.
