WTF John McCain?

Seriously Senator. Is everything alright? Because you don't seem like yourself anymore. Yes, the media is annoying (irony duly noted), but asking you why you did not attend the Benghazi briefing is not only not the worst thing you have ever been asked, but totally acceptable since you are being paid by the public.

We'll put things as bluntly as you did. Who the hell do you think you are that you should not be questioned about doing your job?

You're not some uppity and shiftless meatsack working for the City of Tampa. You are a United States Senator. Start acting like it. Every public employee should be held accountable.

Even you Senator McCain.

Susan Rice: Bad Choice For Secretary Of State. President Pushing Limits

Benghazi is back on the front burner. The President wants to replace Hillary as Secretary of State, with you guessed it, Susan Rice. Good Luck on this one. Obama now feeling he has the right to a mandate is going to try to stream roller Rice in. McCain and Lindsay Grahm think otherwise.

"If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham, and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me," Obama told reporters at a White House news conference. "And I'm happy to have that discussion with them. But for them to go after the U.N. ambassador who had nothing to do with Benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and to besmirch her reputation is outrageous."

Interesting to think the Prez thinks RIce had nothing to do with Benghazi. One would think think as spokes person and  as current United States Ambassador to the United Nations she should know a lot about what really happened to our Benghazi embassy and murdered employees there.Susan Rice should have a few thoughts of her own on the subject.

Does Choice of Smartphone Denote Party Affiliation?

Apple iPhone 5. Google Nexus 4. Samsung Galaxy S3. Chances are you're surfing the net on one right now or you hope to be soon. It's a safe bet. It's also safe to say that you have pretty strong feelings about the handset you use. And why not? Your phone is with you constantly, you paid dearly for it and in most cases, you're legally bound to it for two years. Face it, your phone is your significant other. So it is understandable (though a little weird) that phone choice has become just as politicized as most choices are these days.

Say the words iPhone, iPad or iMac to a group of three or more people and you're likely to hear a groan or get an eye roll from one of them. Apple went from mocked underdog of the 90s to resented overlord of today's pop culture. Funny, but you know you've had at least one of these (or similar) Apple vs ______ argument:

Secession = Failure

All this talk of seceeding has created a linguistical problem, as well as the obvious logistical political problem. Basically the armchair secessionists should no longer consider them Conservatives. At the very least, they should adopt a moniker theat better fits their cause and perspective.

This country was founded to be, and then later fought to be rejoined, a union. The noble patriots that so profoundly sacrificed more than we can imagine or would, today, do ourselves, did not give up because they someone else was in office. Friends turned political enemies, Jefferson and Adams, may have despised the others Presidency, but did neither packed it in. Why not? Because sucession is retreat. Sucession is taking all your toys back home. Sucession is FAILURE.

As a Conservative and as an American, I do not want to align myself with people whose belief in their own values is so tenuous that they would fold in the face of adversity.

What is it with Jill Kelley?

We've spoken to people that are acquaintances of Jill Kelley. The picture we're getting of her i all rather vague. Not because of lack of detail, but because of lack of depth, specifically her lack of depth. Everything we have heard is that she's "nice" and "likes to throw parties" That's it. It's all on the surface.

From the outside one can imagine her as a modern day Mata Hari, using her feminine wiles to separate powerful men from their secrets. That doesn't seem to be the case at this point. What she appears to be is a older Kardashian that lies about her age (or drinks heavily), is shallow and desperately seeking esteem.

Yet, somehow, she managed to socialize with high ranking people that should have been able to see her for the potential trainwreck she is.

So what in the world made this woman so attractive? Jon Stewart might be on to something:

"What does this woman smell like? Is it a heady mixture and ambrosia and crack? Is she the spawn of Marilyn Monroe and a bottle of axe body spray?"

McCain to block Benghazi Bungler

Seator John McCain said "he would do all he could to block Susan Rice's nomination for Secretary of State.

Rice was the administrations mouthpiece that claimed, five days after the massacre in Beghazi, that it was the laughable Innocence of Muslims which was responsible for the "spontaneous uprising", not terrorist attack.

In light of the current Broadwell & Kelley Circus that has toppled Petraeus and may upend Allen, Rice's nomination is utterly ridiculous. At best she's a clumsy amatuer and, if the conspirists are right, at worst, she's....

Appointing Rice would be an insult to the four Americans we lost in Libya.

Jill Kelley on Petraeus SexJet?

Jill Kelley, Holly Petraeus and Natalie Khawam

Things must be pretty awful in several households, here in Tampa, Charlotte and Washington D.C. We feel for Petraeus wife Holly. Mrs. Petraeus is the true victim in this whole sordid mess, though invioable honorary Consul General Jill Kelley would have you believe otherwise.

As this sticky web continues to unravel, with its revelations of shirtless FBI agents, another general, a fraudulent cancer charity and "psychollogically unstable" identical twin sister, Natalie Khawan, it is possible things could get even crazier.

Petraeus & CentCom SexJets?

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this site, our world headquarters is located in South Tampa. Geographically South Tampa is Tampa, only five miles or so from downtown, but for all purposes, it's an eclave all on its own. Footage of Jill Kelley leaving her Bayshore home in her Mercedes paints a pretty good picture of what we're about down here.

But we digress...

DSMW is just a stone's throw from the gates of MacDill AFB, home of CENTCOM. MacDill is also home to the 310th Airlift Squadron. That particular squadron operates several C-37 aircraft. The military has so many wonderful toys... You might recognize the C-37 by its civilian name which is Gulfstream V, or, G-V (G5).

Citizens in 20 states file petitions to secede from United States

As a result of Tuesday's election, Americans in 15 states have filed petitions to secede from the United States, Regina Conley reported at Red Alert Politics on Saturday.

So far, she says, residents in Louisiana, Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, New Jersey and ten other states, have filed petitions at theWhite House petition site requesting secession. A petition for New York to secede was file by "C R" of Grand Forks, North Dakota on Saturday.

Examiner's Sheila Carroll says those other states include Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina,Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Oregon. Joe Newby - The Spokane Conservative Examiner - Click To Read More...

Since our friend Joe Newby at the Spokane Examiner broke this story Texas has broken the threshold for the number of signatures to secede from the over 20 states now to be reviewed by the White House and President Obama to comment on.

"There's a lot of different scenarios," Gov. of Texas Perry said. "We've got a great union. There's absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that. But Texas is a very unique place, and we're a pretty independent lot to boot." - DSMW
