TAMPA – Florida State Representative Dana Young (R. District 57) was gracious enough to speak to us at the Hillsborough County Republican Party Lincoln Day Dinner.
Representive Young and a GOP-led legislature passed a wide range of bills in the legislature ending in the wee hours of the morning in Tallahassee before this interview was done in Tampa that evening. The lawmakers approved a shrunken $69.7 billion budget closing a $3.8 billion gap. The tax cuts will effect every Floridian that votes, buys insurance, receives public education, Medicaid and state retirement benefits.
