The Los Angeles Rams are marking their long-awaited move into a new stadium by rebooting their image.
Ahead of a jersey redesign to be unveiled later this offseason, the Rams on Monday released new logos and team colors as part of a rebranding.
The franchise actually developed four logos as part of Monday’s event. One of them resembled a version that had been leaked earlier in March and subsequently was widely panned. But that one — the white letters “LA” with a yellow Rams horn coming off the “A” — has different coloring than the one that hit social media early.
The colors are called “Rams Royal,” a shade of blue, and “Sol,” a shade of yellow.
The new look coincides with the franchise’s inaugural season in SoFi Stadium, which is expected to be completed later this year.
