With friends like these….
In politics it is difficult to gauge real outrage and the outrage manufactuered for the cameras. The scandalous allegations made against Herman Cain certainly have illicited their fair share of real and hyped emotions. It is in situations the entertainment truly begins.
Enter lightning rod Ann Coulter.
“I mean that’s why our blacks are so much better than their blacks. To become a black Republican you don’t just roll into it, you’re not just going with the flow. You have fought against probably your family, probably your neighbors, you have thought everything out. And that’s why we have very impressive blacks in our party.”
While we wouldn’t want to question Ms. Coulter’s experience as a “black”, we would disuade her from appearing in public in whiteface talking about how “our blacks are better than their blacks”. She should probably just stick to topics she is familiar with, like how “our women are less Shrill than their women”.
