Benghazi is back on the front burner. The President wants to replace Hillary as Secretary of State, with you guessed it, Susan Rice. Good Luck on this one. Obama, now feeling he has the right to a mandate, is going to try to stream roller Rice in. McCain and Lindsey Graham think otherwise.
“If Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham, and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me,” Obama told reporters at a White House news conference. “And I’m happy to have that discussion with them. But for them to go after the U.N. ambassador who had nothing to do with Benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and to besmirch her reputation is outrageous.”
Interesting to think the Prez thinks RIce had nothing to do with Benghazi. One would think think as spokes person and as current United States Ambassador to the United Nations she should know a lot about what really happened to our Benghazi embassy and murdered employees there.Susan Rice should have a few thoughts of her own on the subject.
“Mr. President, don’t think for one minute I don’t hold you ultimately responsible for Benghazi. I think you failed as Commander in Chief before, during, and after the attack,” Lindsay Graham shot back.
“If the president thinks that we are picking on people, he really does not have any idea of how serious this issue is,” said McCain on the Senate floor.
“This president and this administration has either been guilty of colossal incompetence or engaged in a cover-up, neither of which are acceptable to the American people,” McCain said.
