Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump vowed Monday at the Detroit Economic Club to end the “death tax” and to cap business income taxes at 15 percent — part of his broader plan to strengthen the economy and spur more job creation in the United States.
Mr. Trump sought to draw a clear contrast with Hillary Clinton, saying the Democratic presidential nominee’s economic vision is tired and relies on high taxes, “radical regulation” and bad trade deals that have hurt ordinary Americans and cities such as Detroit.
