Page one news: of 431,000 new jobs in May 411,000 of them were temporary census hires, leaving only 20,000 in the private sector.
Page two news: even with record unemployment Congress raises the mimumin wage to 7.25 per hour; the “jobs” bill passed by the house last week extends jobless benefits to 99 weeks and raises taxes by 80 billion on small employers and US based corporation.
Can’t we connect the dots? Measures that punish business do have that effect. Employers are on strike!
I don’t know about you but I am tired of Washington and Keynesian economics. You can’t win when the first dollar goes to the Government.
