More and more when the subject of President Obama comes up, especially after the telling June 15th televised oval office appearance, he is dismissed and no longer taken seriously. Peggy Noonan calls him snakebit and goes on to say the quote that every general knows, ” That it’s smarter to be lucky than it’s lucky to be smart.”
My friend, over dinner tonight, described a dinner and silent auction he attended last night honoring the professional athletics and businessmen in the suburbman Florida city I call home. As part of the auction there was a framed personally autographed picture of Obama along with memorabilia offered by the White House. It was selling for $600. At the end of the evening no one had purchased it.
